Research Center for Green X-tech will be featured on NHK’s popular science program, “Science ZERO.” The broadcast is scheduled for Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 11:30 PM JST. The special will be titled “仙台に誕生!ナノの世界をテラス 新・放射光施設.”

The program will highlight the capabilities and potential of NanoTerasu, the next-generation synchrotron radiation facility that recently opened here in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. It will explore its role as a giant microscope for visualizing the “nano-world” and showcase its applications in cutting-edge materials research.

Research Center for Green X-Tech is advancing research in environmental materials and next-generation energy technologies utilizing NanoTerasu. This broadcast will feature the work and experiments of Professor Kawai from the center, as well as collaborative efforts with the Menicon Co-creation Laboratory and the Epson Co-creation Laboratory.
