The 3rd “Kawai Juku” Seminar Held – A Course on the Fundamentals of Polymer Materials, Focusing on “What is Molecular Weight?”
The 3rd “Kawai Juku” Seminar was held on July 25, 2025.

This course is an educational series held monthly as part of a human resource development program supported by the Research Center for Green X-Tech, aiming to systematically deepen the foundational understanding of polymer materials.
The 3rd session included explanations on polymer molecular weight, the principles of molecular weight measurement methods (the principle of size exclusion chromatography using columns, and the principle of detectors), and case studies of polymer degradation and molecular weight change.

The participating students and young researchers deepened their understanding through question-and-answer sessions and discussions with the lecturers, focusing on the connection between theory and actual measurement techniques.
