We had the pleasure of hosting Associate Professor Luna Yue Huang from the University of Washington from September 8th to 12th.

Associate Professor Huang’s research focuses on applying data science and machine learning to materials science research and engineering.

She exchanged information and opinions with Center Director Okabe and Professor Kazuhiko Komatsu. She also toured NanoTerasu. We were able to share a very meaningful time, and it proved to be a very valuable opportunity.
