A thin-section preparation workshop and demonstration was held.
On September 24, 2025, a workshop and demonstration on the preparation of “thin-section samples,” which are essential for structural analysis, was held for researchers associated with the Research Center for Green X-Tech.
For this session, we invited Professor Takase from the Research Equipment Sharing Center at Nagoya City University as an instructor to teach thin-section preparation techniques for soft matter, which are crucial for advanced structural measurements using electron and X-ray microscopes.
Professor Takase is known as an expert in thin-section preparation, with over 20 years of experience, and demonstrated his precise techniques at the workshop.
The event was highly praised by the participants, and due to the positive response, the next session is scheduled for January 2026. We plan to continue holding these events to further advance technical skills and promote research.
