The 8th Kawai Juku Seminar: Fundamentals of Polymer Materials – Polymer Rheology and Molding Processes

event

The 8th “Kawai Juku” was held on December 19, 2025.

This lecture series is held monthly as part of the human resource development program supported by the Research Center for Green X-Tech. The program aims to provide a systematic and in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of polymer materials.

In this eighth session, the lecture and discussion covered various topics, including the definition of fluids, Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids, the principles and measurement examples of rheometers, dynamic viscoelasticity in relation to molecular weight and distribution, and the injection molding process for polymers.

Once again, the Q&A and discussion sessions with the lecturers were highly engaging. Participants deepened their understanding through vigorous and enthusiastic exchange of ideas.
