The 11th “Kawai-Juku”: Structural Evaluation of Recycled PP and Visualization of Melt Index (MI)
This educational series is held monthly as part of a human resource development program supported by the Green Cross Tech Research Center, aiming to systematically deepen the fundamental understanding of polymer materials. This 11th session, marking the final installment for fiscal year 2025, featured an introduction and detailed commentary on the structural evaluation of recycled polypropylene (rPP) and the visualization of its material potential using the Melt Index (MI).

In this final session, as with previous ones, the Q&A and discussions with the lecturers were highly energetic, with participants engaging in spirited debates to deepen their understanding.
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Kawai and Dr. Ito for organizing the “Kawai-Juku” series, as well as to all the guest speakers for their insightful special lectures. Every session provided us with invaluable learning opportunities.
Furthermore, we would like to thank all the participating faculty members and students for their active and passionate contributions to the discussions throughout the series.
