Experiencing Cutting-Edge Research: Yokohama Jogakuin High School Students Visit the “Meni LAB” Co-creation Research Laboratory

event

On May 28, 2026, students from Yokohama Jogakuin High School in Kanagawa Prefecture visited “Meni LAB” and participated in a mock lecture and hands-on experiments at the Engineering General Research Building.

This time, we brought an actual recycling box into the classroom to show the students. It provided them with a valuable opportunity to experience firsthand how “the everyday plastics around them” connect to the future through resource circulation research.

The Research Center for Green X-Tech will continue to deepen its insights into materials evaluation and process innovation utilizing advanced measurement, while vigorously promoting research development through interdisciplinary collaboration.

At the same time, through interactions and educational activities with the next generation of youth, such as this recent event, we remain committed to raising environmental awareness for the realization of a sustainable society and contributing to the community and society.
