The 9th “Kawai-juku” Seminar: Rheology (Solids) and Mechanical Properties

event

The 9th “Kawai-juku” Seminar was held on January 21, 2026.

As part of the human resource development program supported by the Research Center for Green X-Tech , this monthly educational series aims to systematically deepen the fundamental understanding of polymer materials.

In this 9th session, the lecture and commentary covered the Maxwell model, solid viscoelasticity models, decomposition of solid deformation modes, DMA (Dynamic Mechanical Analysis) evaluation, and TTSP (Time-Temperature Superposition Principle) alongside time-domain expansion.

As with previous sessions, the Q&A and discussion periods with the instructors were highly spirited. Participants engaged in intense debate while further solidifying their understanding of the subject matter.
