The 10th “Kawai-juku” Seminar: Crystal Relaxation and Polymer Deformation

As part of the human resource development program supported bythe Research Center for Green X-Tech, this monthly educational series aims to systematically deepen the fundamental understanding of polymer materials.
In this 10th session, the lecture and discussion focused on the transitions and relaxation of polymers, the definition of crystal relaxation, and the deformation, fracture, and toughening of crystalline polymers.
As with previous sessions, the Q&A and discussion periods with the instructors were highly spirited. Participants engaged in intense debate while further solidifying their understanding of the subject matter.
